(Fort McMurray, AB – December 14, 2022) – The Wood Buffalo 2023 Arctic Winter Games Host Society launched the first of two phases of ticket sales on Wednesday.
Phase one includes Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Cultural Gala, medal-round hockey games and Super Passes. The second phase will launch day passes in January 2023.
“With just over six weeks to the start of the 2023 Arctic Winter Games, we are excited to launch the ticketing program and give fans the opportunity to secure their passes,” said Nicole Clow, Host Society General Manager. “We hope everyone gets a chance to see some of the best youth participants from the circumpolar North compete and take in this unique event.”
Tickets have three levels of pricing: Youth (18 years and under), adult (ages 19-54), and senior (55 years and older). Children two years and under are free.
“It is important to the Host Society that all ticketed events be affordable and accessible. The ticket pricing developed for the 2023 Arctic Winter Games was created with that goal in mind,” added Clow.
